Air Flow Matters
Maximum air flow in your sleep environment can significantly help lower body temperature, so you sleep better, cooler and get the recovery you need to perform at your peak each day.
Did you know that high-thread count cotton sheets actually restrict air flow in your bedding and trap heat while you sleep? We carefully measure the breathability of our performance sheets through our CFM (Cubic Feet Per Minute) testing process which calculates the level of air flow passing through the fabric per second per square centimeter. The CFM rating is designated by five distinct sub-categories, ranging from 1 to 5. A higher rating indicates better ventilation and air flow of the fabric; a lower the rating means that the fabric offers less air flow and heat remains closer to the body. Independently verified by third party testing companies, the CFM rating system also empowers you to compare breathability of our sheets to others on the market in a simple, fact-based chart.
